SLAMMER'S SIXWING MODE featuring SIX-GUN

Continuing from Scamper's SixCar mode file.

Original art.

You may remember a similar version of Optimus Prime (with his trailer turned into wings) from Transformers vs. G.I. Joe (IDW) by Tom Scioli and John Barber.

When a Decepticon breached the security of Metroplex, the three Curators of the city-bots found themselves unable to stop the intruder.
The Decepticon had planned for every contingency, and he made his way to Metroplex's most valuable and irreplaceable components.
But even so, entering Metroplex is one thing; getting out, is something completely different.
The Metroplex Team managed to chase and trap the Decepticon in a Nuclear Core Containment Subspace Sphere-- one of the most dangerous environments inside Metroplex's body.
In an unexpected move, the Decepticon made the whole team fall into the Nuclear Core, but exposure to a Transmogrification Driver became the salvation of the three small robots.
One half of Six-Gun combined with the robotic form of Slammer, granting him the ability to glide on the energy winds that blow restlessly inside the whole body of Metroplex.
Rising like an angel of Earth's mythologies, Slammer's wing left behind a spacetime-twisting trail that almost swallowed the despicable Decepticon.

This combined mode can last only a few Breems, as it's very taxing for the Spark Cores of the two mechanoids, as a huge amount of energy is drawn from them.
During that time, though, nothing can touch SixWing Slammer, and no barrier can oppose his advance.

SCAMPER'S SIXCAR MODE featuring SIX-GUN

NOTES

>> Continuing from Six-Guns' Bio.

Original art.

When a devastating crisis hit Metroplex and his three Curators were almost swept away by a nuclear fire, Scamper and one half of Six-Gun's body were recombined by the Transmogrification Drive into a so-called Six-Mode.
Scamper's car mode evolved into a hover car which can travel on the surface of the otherwise-deadly inner seas of Metroplex. These seas, composed of a Quantum Gel that alters the spacetime structure, are located on the inner surface of the hyper-spheres that house Metroplex's key organs (the Metaprocessor, the Ultra-Spark Core): as everything else inside Metroplex, they are gigantic places that dwarf even the larger Cybertronians.

NOTES

Continuing from Six-Guns' Bio <<.

NAME: SIX-GUN
FACTION: AUTOBOT
FUNCTION: SECURITY AND DEFENCE
Motto: "If peace is not the prize the battle is already lost".

A strategist and a tactician since the Liberation Missions that came before the Golden Age, Six-Gun is a soldier that belives in the need of creating a bright future by protecting those who cannot protect themselves.
Six-Gun's spirit of sacrifice is second to no one's. That's what led him to undergo the experimental reformatting that turned his body into an assembly of powerful weapons; Six-Gun lost the ability to switch to an actual alt mode, but his body can now arm a team of five mechs.
Scamper is the only scientist aware that Six-Gun's weapons are a miniature replica of Metroplex's main weapons: there's a reason for that, but it's a secreted one, known only to the Autobot Leaders and a small number of Kimia scientists.

Six-Gun's armory includes high-energy MASER cannons, surface-to-air guided missile launchers, ion-pulse rifles.

When Metroplex was invaded by a particularly crafty and deceptive bounty hunter (and allegedly serial killer) Decepticon, the Metroplex Team was almost annihilated.
But the exposure to one of Metroplex's Transmogrification Drives brought a miracle that literally saved the day.

The two halves of Six-Gun's body merged with his teammates on an all-new level, granting them abilities never achieved before, thus developing the so-called Six-modes.

Slammer's Sixtank mode is now able to attach to the invisible energy trails that course through the entire body of Metroplex, and use them to move like a jet.
This "flight" ability is severely limited in a planetary atmosphere, but knows no boundaries in deep space, where the streams of gravity and electromagnetism can lead Slammer almost everywhere he wants.

NOTES

In a tribute to his G1 Marvel UK self, Carnivac is acting as a fairly honorable warrior, even though he seems simply to follow the example of Spinister.

Carnivac is a Triple Changer, a technology that Shockwave loves experimenting on Decepticons, as seen for Blitzwing's FOURTH alt mode in Short Story: Replacement.
Carnivac chose to retain his beast mode, as he is still connected to his Primitive self.
On the other hands, the Deluxe Insecticon chose the opposite path, as seen in Secret Shame and the other connected stories.

NOTES

Action in panels 2-3 takes place at the top of the Mining Shaft, where the Wreckers are facing the A.E. troopers and their acting commander Soundwave.

The A.E. Troopers can be seen in their "Tetrajet" modes, although in the official issues of the miniseries, they never changed to their alt-modes.

"Cybertron: The Middle Years" was a G1 Marvel Uk text-only story... the first one to ever mention the mysterious Warlord Trannis.
From that story, Seeds Of Deception took the inspiration to create a War Within version of Trannis.
But there's more, as now you can see an actual comic of "Cybertron: The Middle Years". Check it out!

I don't know if you've been asked this question or not, but will you be using any elements from the IDW comics past the stopping point for your own comic series?
