NOTES

Panels 1-2-3: the building that is being slowly covered by other structures is a metaphor of time passing and history being forgotten.
You may remember it from SoD: Omega Supreme - page 3, though, because it is the Palace Of Commemoration.

Omega mentions casually the various crises/events that took place during the many metacycles of the Golden Age.
Some of them will be detailed in these Special Stories:
- Ebony Dawn (see also SoD: Shockowave/Soundwave for a preview);
- Turning The Tide (working title);
- The Giant Flying Head Conspiracy (working title).

The Pagoda Supreme will be heavily featured in SoD: Ultra Magnus.

Grimlock and Jetfire's troubles are featured in their own chapter, SoD: Jetfire/Grimlock.

The mech being beaten up by Grimlock is a Battlecharger, whose name we shall reveal when a Short Story about him is available.

Ratbat's industral plans will be revealed in SoD: Ratbat.

Look for more of RainDance's adventures in his own miniseries (that he will share with Grand Slam, of course)!

Ratbat is accompanied by his loyal servant, Bomb-Burst.

Jetfire is arguing with Perceptor.

man, this is so timely. The story is going along the logical route. The lower brained soldiers like Grimlock (Who I love) would be a real problem. And billionaires? Name a species that isn't plagued with their sparkless bullshit. Awesome stuff. So beautiful.

I love the poetry of the first three panels; as time goes on, the identity and threat of the past is covered up and easily by-passed, just as the old government building is hidden by new, and history's lessons are easily skipped in favor of new, fresher exploits.
