NOTES

The original version of Balance Staff was designed by Don Figueroa for Spotlight: Optimus Prime.
In that book, the Staff appears briefly in one panel, and no information is given about it: we cerated the background, expanding its history and connecting it to the Source.

Peter designed the "unfolded" version of the Balance Staff.

"Chest Of The Treasures Of The Light": a collection of ancestral artifacts that Primus gave to the Cybertronians in the age of myth.
The Matrix Case belongs to these Treasures.

"Light-Treasure" is a reference to Gnosis.

In panels 2-3-4, we went close to using "Transform and transcend" (as uttered by the Oracle in Beast Machines): but it did not really make sense, so we moved to the more familiar "Till All Are One" of TFTM86.

"Chosen One" is (another) nod to Rodimus Prime.

The Ancients can transform. They become spheres, in a reference to japanese pre-Transformers toys (Sphere-Robo).
In sphere form, they can interat with the Chamber and open the Vault that hosts the Treasures.
