NOTES

The second prequel story to our cornerstone miniseries The Drought is here!

Strongly recommended, but not mandatory (althought it will be satisfactory), is the read of The Cosmic Freight Train (that is, our first prequel to The Drought).

Once again, we are going to answer some key questions by focusing on one of the main characters of The Drought.
Just as in The Cosmic Freight Train the character in question was Octane, in Moonlighting it's Fistfight's turn.
(Who will be the main character of the third prequel? Perceptor or Charger?)

The on-screen images in panel 1 are from The Cosmic Freight Train and The Drought (Part 1).

Once again, Shockwave is performing theoretical and experimental works on Energon.

The Black Market rumors are obviously a reference to Octane's secret activities.

"Uncharismatic Soundwave" is a reference to TFTM86.

It is known that Shockwave was Jhiaxus' understudy, but Seeds of Deception revealed more about their relationship: it seems that Shockwave was also Jhiaxus' student.
