Ironfist briefly appeared in page 4 of SoD: Magnus, sporting a slightly different color scheme (it's his Golden Age version). Although he applied moer than once for a job in the Security Forces, he was always expelled/rejection for various reason. His first real battle experiences will come during the Civil War (as told in The Last Stand Of The Wreckers).
An older version of Impactor, known as Ultra Impactor, is featured in Short Story: Three Is Better Than Two: 1, 2, 3. Ultra Impactor's final adventure, in SoD: Magnus, takes place before the debut of the Impactor of "Smashing Impact": how are they related? It's just a common name or there is more? As usual, time will tell!
