NOTES

Original art with colors for SoD: Trannis page 1.

"Then" and "Now", past and present, just like in the opening sequence of The War Within (vol. 2): The Dark Ages.

Trannis' Red Team composed of: Warpath, Treadshot, Thrust, Misfire.

Misfire is in his red version (Marvel TF Universe) to maintain the common "red" theme.

The small-sized alien warriors are based on the ones seen in Spotlight: Galvatron. No direct relation, though: just a tribute to Guido Guidi's work.

The Red Team and the World Of Roytonok are also featured in page 6 of SoD Shockwave/Soundwave (and following).

The podium in the Assembly Hall can change its own bas-reliefs colors.

The Assembly Hall was first shown in page 4 of SoD: Omega Supreme.

The mechs in the background seats are generic-bots sporting features that are a tribute to some G1 characters.

Which chapter is this? I see chapters 2 and 4 are still not included in list above. I assume this is one of them and Ratbat the other?

This is going to be an exciting issue, I can tell. I love what ya'll have done with Trannis, and I'm excited that we get to see more about him here. Does that also mean that we get to find out more about that gladiator armor?

For the art itself, the inks have a really nice variety in line weight, and the detail isn't overwhelming, which can easily happen with TF comics. The colors are also well-done. I do like the overall rich color scheme and the hints of visible brush marks.

And as for needing colorists? I just might be able to help in that respect if you're interested.

Yes, the Gladiator Armor is one of the main topics of this story... the "chrysalis" concept will come to fruition and you'll get to see WHAT is growing within the armor.

Also, Starscream will handle the consequences of this "evolution", in his own chapter: the final act will feature the destiny of Trannis's body!
