09 - StarscreamCommentsOh that was indeed enjoyable. This makes me think... I would hate to think he was just naturally "evil." That's just too one-dimensional. Maybe, at the time, Starscream simply didn't understand the moral implications of murder. But after committing such a heinous act he unwittingly set himself down a road he could not go back from.
Thanks: I would like to see the Acts of his story as a growth process that will shape the current starscream.
Here, he did the first selfish act, and learned that mass-killing is not the answer... but in the same time he could not care less about the others, because the only thing that matters is he. The "lessons" that he receives will bring him on a very specific path. Is selfishness evil? The readers will decide by themselves: in our society, it seems more and more than selfishness and greed are a good thing, while being honest and caring is for naive idiots, so maybe the story is a metaphor and we're following exactly Starscream's path. I wrote too much =__= |
