Now now, this has officially made my day!
From the technical point of view the art is breathtaking, :iconsakuranez: made a stunning job, as :iconcanalus: did for page 10.
And the story is just perfect! Everything fits in this proper place along the lines established by the Marvel and "-action" series canon and, personally, reading this I never feel that sense of dissonance I have while reading the most recent TF productions. The past you depicted for these characters (all of them) smoothly synchronizes with the way they act in the distant future, and it never seems forced upon them to make them appear less evil, more justified, more appealing in a way that I totally reject.
Here, you pose the bases of a coup d'etat carefully planned, viciously covered under the pretense of obeying to the system. And this sounds so much fitted the Decepticon way rather than -only- the sheer display of brutal destruction exhibited in Megatron: Origins. Nomen omen as in ancient Rome they said.
In all of this, Trannis shines as a true star
And he's not only just an evil overlord, or just a miner turner gladiator, or just a pacifist intellectual of sort turned miner, or just a gladiator turned evil overlord, but a truly much more complex character (in particular considering what he'll become, development that I think the most recent comics are forgetting in the rush to humanize him).
On the other hand, Trannis is believable as the future leader of the Decepticon army AND he has his human side. Page #10 summarized pretty well his inner turmoil, but it serves to make him stronger and more determined against the system he despises, not just more brutal.
Also, he has a plan. Decepticons have a plan. I'm wondering if another Megatron and other Decepticons could say the same ;)

The President of the Trannis fanclub :meow:

(insomma, tutto sto papiro per dire che avete fatto un ottimo lavoro! Questo venerdý Ŕ cominciato proprio bene e... mi avete riconciliata con il passato di Cybertron XD)

Thank you for the truly fantastic comment!
This analysis is so spot-on that's actually better than the actual story :)
Sadly, we hat to cram everything in 5 pages, having Trannis summarize the whole plan (while other chapters features different bits of the same plot), instead of expanding it into a full 22 pages story with dialogues and action.
Actually, I think (I wish) that the Trannis chapter alone could be turned in a 5-issues miniseries ;)

Ahah, oh well, you are authors who put efforts and love in what they write, it's you we fans have to thank for this fantastic story!
I hope that too! Since Trannis evolution is one of the cornerstones of your project, the miniseries are very much deserved ;)

Thank you so much: this is probably the best review ever!
You nailed all the goals we were aiming at with this chapter (and you actually added some new layers, I think).

Thanks!!

I'm glad I made myself clear XD
I throughly enjoyed this chapter, it feels right to me, a work of fans that truly pays homage to the roots of TF.

Again, well done!

Thank you again, and let's credit the Mighty Simon Furman for laying the basis for this whole saga and its great, immortal characters (who are true to their G1 roots but also evolved for a more mature public).

I wholeheartedly agree! His stories are the best, for themes, plots and character development. He's truly the sensei of the Transformers multi-verse

Just wow......with Act 2 of 'Trannis' out, SoD has officially become a member of 'Top 5 of TF-fiction' in my book

The way you weave strategies, politics, interests and intrigues one on top the other (and under and beside and from within) , all carefully paced and seamlessly synchronized between different chapters is truly fascinating.......hats off, to all of you! :worship:

..and happy birthday!!!
